GoodGym at King's
GoodGym, the UK's most innovative running club, hits King's College London.
In an exclusive partnership, KCL is the first university to have its own GoodGym run.
GoodGym is a community of runners that combine getting fit with doing good. They stop off on runs to do physical tasks for community organisations and to support isolated older people with social visits and one-off tasks they can't do on their own.
We will be helping a local community organisation every week!
It's a great way to stay in shape, meet new people and do some good. You'll get fit, meet new people and get to explore the hidden parts of London.
GoodGym is very social and welcomes runners of all abilities. You can go at your own pace and no one ever gets left behind.
We are looking for groups of at least 15 people (can be many more!), to organise "Run to Do Good" events for over the year. You could team up with friends from your society, sport club, course or residence.
The run will be at a location, time and on a date convenient for you, and will run to a nearby community organisation to do some volunteering. We run at a steady pace, and there is always a designated back marker, so nobody gets left behind!
Get in touch with email@example.com if you’d be interested in setting up a “Run to Do Good” for your group so we can then get a date in the diary and start to organise a good task for you.
Distance: We will usually run between 2 and 3km to each task and will stop for a quick fitness session on the way back.
