Business Challenges & Projects

Host innovative online challenges or work with us to generate business challenges for groups of students to enhance their employability.

We offer employers an opportunity to work with our students solving important business issues on areas including sustainable growth, green finance and CSR.

Who's it most suited for?

Our virtual business projects are hosted on a dedicated platform - Practera. We work in an interdisciplinary manner, broadening our pool of employers. This may be suitable for multinational organisations but also start-ups and charities keen to build their brand.

Virtual micro-projects enable students from a variety of academic programmes to work together in a multi-disciplinary manner whilst we're developing further ideas for new initiatives in the coming year.

Our Insights Programme develops career confidence in our talented students with focus on those from traditionally under-represented groups within UK Higher Education. It aims to provide them with key skills and meaningful work experience as they embark on their search for graduate opportunities. Our Insights Programme include:

  • Business Treks
  • Work-Shadowing
  • Virtual Micro Internships (Practera)
  • Virtual Consultancy Projects (Practera)

  • As our partner employer, you will play a key role in facilitating these ‘short and sharp’ work opportunities and make a positive impact on our students’ future careers while promoting social mobility.

If you would like to collaborate with King’s through business challenges please contact us through employers@kcl.ac.uk and one of our Employer Relations and Development Advisers will get in touch with you.

Do you have your own competition or hackathon?

Many of our students are keen to expand their knowledge and skills participating in interactive competitions, and they're a great way to uncover new talent.

Whether you're running stock picking, trading, writing, debating or society competitions we can advertise through our blog, social media channels and newsletters if they meet our terms & conditions.
