For organisations with existing brand exposure looking to convert this into practical applications from students matched to their knowledge, attributes, skills and experiences, our options are designed to ensure maximum exposure to our audience.
We're keen to engage with the broadest range of employers, wherever you might be located, and we know that it's not currently possible to come onto campus, so we can also help you promote or host your own virtual activity.
Whether hosting live webinars, presentations and insight days, Q&A sessions or case studies, office tours and dinners to show off your offices, we're conscious that many employers will choose to run virtual or off-campus events for a number of universities your're targeting - so we've made it easy to advertise these with us for free.
Before autumn semester, our team can also help schedule these activities at King's, confirming a slot in our calendar to minimise potential clashes with competitor organisations and then promote these for free using our King's CareerConnect platform on your behalf.
Events we are happy to promote, assuming compliance with our terms & conditions, include:
Perhaps you want to host an event just for King's students - we can help schedule these activities, confirming a slot in our calendar to minimise potential clashes with competitor organisations and then promote these for free using our King's CareerConnect platform on your behalf.
If you do not have a suitable platform to deliver virtual events we can facilitate your delivery using MS Teams or MS Teams Live.
To ensure the comprehensive marketing of your event to students, we strongly advise a minimum of three weeks' notice in order to book, promote and deliver your proposed event.
Schedule your Event into our Events Calendar for Free
Benefit from support in setting up your event, registration of attendees and host a recording on our careers site.
*There is a charge of £250 + VAT for supported events which includes technical support, attendee registration and reporting, promotion and recording for asynchronous review on our virtual learning environment.
Whilst it can be of benefit to showcase your organisation in a familiar environment, student feedback suggests that individual on-campus presentations are often not the best way to engage. Please review the below information carefully to assist your plans.
Instead, consider promoting your own national activities with us or engaing through more educational masterclasses, skills workshops or panel events. Many of these events are pre-scheduled through the year, so students will be aware of these slots in each semester, and as we do not promote individual employer names for our educational workshops, they are a great way for organisations without broad brand appeal to start your engagement with us.
In response to student feedback, and considering the limited space options available across our campuses, we have taken the decision to limit on campus presentation packages.
If your organisation is keen to host a specific presentation with us, please arrange a consultation with the relevant Employer Relations & Development Adviser first to discuss options.
If we consider your event may be mutually beneficial:
Speak with our Advisers to determine if we feel your event will be mutually beneficial and to investigate options for room availability.
Complete a request confirm the agreed details of your proposed event, including options for different dates so we can best accommodate your ideas.
We will review your form and then revert back with confirmation of the date and time as well as payment details (events are costed on request) and when we will confirm your specific room request.
Room sizes and layouts are provided for guidance only and are are only able to confirm exact room locations at the beginning of each autumn semester once timetabling has been completed.
We'll advertise your event, send a targeted email on your behalf, conduct registration and will be in touch to confirm attendance.
Attendance is not guaranteed but we will contact you if we have any concerns regarding attendance.
*Whilst policy is that all recruitment activity must be coordinated by King's Employer Engagement, we take no responsibility for potential clashes of events with student societies affiliated to KCLSU or otherwise which may take place in parallel.
