Free Vacancy Board

Our King's CareerConnect vacancy board is accessible 24/7 and is the most effective way to advertise opportunities for free to over 45,000 current students and recent alumni.

The platform is used by students and recent alumni across King's, with an average of 2,500 users per day during autumn term.
Our Recruiting at King's Guide (pdf) offers advice on how to post a thorough advertisement on the system alongside best practice guidance on writing adverts, hosting interns, students with disabilities, recruitment timeframes and retaining talent.
  • Register an account to post opportunities.
  • Once registered, you can log-in, add or amend contacts, update your profile, post new opportunities or update existing adverts whenever is convenient.
  • We'll email you when your opportunities are ready to expire, so you can extend them if necessary.

 Organisations can post:
  • Graduate or entry-level positions
  • Spring weeks & insight programmes
  • Internships (summer, part-time or graduate)
  • King's Internships (exclusive King's programmes)
  • Part-time or casual roles
  • Year-in-Industry Placements
  • Experienced hire (+2 years) roles
  • Researcher & PhD positions
Opportunities are reviewed by our team and if required we will contact you for clarification or further information before the advert goes live, according to the dates you choose.
Please ensure you have have read our Statement of Professional Standards, Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice for use of the vacancy board before registering.

I like using the King's vacancy board, as it is free of charge, simple to upload a job, postings are quickly processed and it enables us to target more candidates of the calibre that we are looking for.

Additional Considerations

Our Accredited Internships Programme provides support to a number of integrated credit-bearing modules embedded in programmes across King's. Opportunities posted to this scheme only are therefore exempt from national minimum wage legislation.

Organisations looking to promote their own competition or highlight scholarship opportunities to our students can submit a blog post, as these are not permitted on King's CareerConnect.

Post a Competition or Scholarship opportunity

We are currently developing a new volunteering provison as part of our wider Vision 2029 Service Strategy. Until this point we are not accepting any volunteering roles on King's CareerConnect.

A growing number of King's programmes include either a mandatory or optional placement or year in industry as part of their structure and our team supports the development of opportunities for these programmes.

Review our Placements provision

Part-time and casual roles based on campus can be advertised through King's Talent Bank, the College's own temp agency. Other roles which may be of interest to students and recent graduates can be posted directly on King's CareerConnect.

We will post opportunities if they meet our terms & conditions for working with third parties. Please read these before posting opportunities on our vacancy board. Third-parties will be charged £100 + VAT for each advert placed, which must be purchased at the time of advertising through our eStore.

Read our Terms & Conditions for Third Parties (pdf)

We will advertise roles only for organisations who have an existing partnership with King's Careers & Employability. Adverts must be explicit that successful candidate(s) will be required to work in consultation with King's Careers & Employability and that they should be aware of the services we offer. Organisations must inform us when they have filled the role(s) so we can liaise with representatives as required.
