Vacancy Board

Our free vacancy board is accessible globally and is the most effective way to advertise opportunities to nearly 60,000 current students, doctoral researchers and recent alumni.

King's CareerConnect is used by students and recent alumni across King's, with an average of 3,000 users per day during autumn term. It's also used by our teams to keep in touch with you, share updates on activity or initiatives you might wish to engage with or book events as you deepen your engagement with King's.

  1. Register an account and agree our terms;
  2. Add your details, add or amend contacts, complete your profile,
  3. Create and post new opportunities or update existing adverts whenever is convenient;
  4. Confirmation of all opportunities will be received when reviewed and published - we'll contact you if we require any clarification;
  5. Renew your roles or extend them if you need - you'll receive an email you when your opportunities are ready to expire, so you can extend them if necessary
  6. Reflect on your experience - you'll receive a survey a month after any role(s) close asking you for feedback or whether you successfully received any applications from our audiences.

I like using the King's vacancy board, as it is free of charge, simple to upload a job, postings are quickly processed and it enables us to target more candidates of the calibre that we are looking for.

Additional Considerations

A growing number of King's programmes include either a mandatory or optional placement or year in industry as part of their structure and our team supports the development of opportunities for these programmes.

Review our Global Placements provision

Organisations looking to promote their own competition or highlight hackathons and other opportunities which are neither a job role or scholarship can submit a blog post, as these are not permitted on King's CareerConnect.

Post a Competition or Hackathon opportunity

Part-time and casual roles based on campus can be advertised through King's Talent Bank, the College's own temp agency.

Other roles which may be of interest to students and recent graduates can be posted directly on King's CareerConnect.

We will post opportunities if they meet our terms & conditions for working with third parties. Please read these before posting opportunities on our vacancy board.

Third-parties will be charged £100 + VAT for each advert placed, which must be purchased at the time of advertising through our eStore.

Read our Terms & Conditions for Third Parties (pdf)

We will advertise roles only for organisations who have an existing partnership with King's Careers & Employability. Adverts must be explicit that successful candidate(s) will be required to work in consultation with King's Careers & Employability and that they should be aware of the services we offer.

Organisations must inform us when they have filled the role(s) so we can liaise with representatives as required.
