Fellowship success

31 March 2009

The Division of imaging Sciences is delighted to host Dr Maite Jauregui-Oroso, who has been awarded an EPSRC 2008-2009 Postdoctoral Fellowships at the Life Sciences Interface.

This is a prestigious individual three-year fellowship awarded to recently qualified PhD’s aiming to apply physical sciences at the life science interface.

Maite joined us after her PhD at Manchester University in early 2008 to gain experience in PET chemistry. Maite will start her fellowship in May 2009 to work in collaboration with Prof Phil Blower and Dr Mark Green on a novel pre-targeted nanoparticles strategy as a basis for contrast agent development for PET, SPET and MR imaging in a variety of disease applications.
