The Psychiatry Research Trust are pleased to invite you to the 22nd Thomas James Okey Lecture: 

Biostatistician Behind Bars: By Design and on Trial, By Professor Sheila M. Bird OBE MA PhD CStat FFPH FRSE (MRC Biostatistics Unit, University of Cambridge Institute of Public Health, Robinson Way, Cambridge). 

The study designs (WASH surveillance, record-linkage, evidence-synthesis, audit of fatal accident inquiries, randomized controlled trial) that were critical for shedding light on the morbidity and mortality of prisoners; in particular those with a history of injection drug use.

Refreshments will be served at 17:30 and also there will be a reception after the lecture.
